Hi there, I’m Justin McDowell. I am writing here because I want to extend the discussion of Enterprise Architecture to the notion of building a human centered enterprise. I want to turn the volume down on corporate-speak and buzzword jargon and make Enterprise Architecture more approachable and user friendly. This site focuses primarily on Enterprise Architecture and blends in applicable learnings from Service Design, and User Centered Design.
I became an Enterprise Architect quite by accident. Before that job role, I’ve been everything from a grocer’s clerk to a research assistant. I’ve had the pleasure of working for and traveling to some of the largest and smallest companies in the United States. I like science, tennis, wine, rum, and computers, just not in that order. When I am not at work or on the tennis court, I toil away on a novel that I am certain no one will read.
